Christiansburg came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Cave Spring Knights with a sharp 15-4 win. The Blue Demons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 11 runs or more this season.

Christiansburg pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cave Spring, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
