Volleyball Recap: Evergreen Valley Takes a Loss

Evergreen Valley was the 2-0 winner over Los Altos when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Eagles on Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17.

Evergreen Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season. As for Los Altos, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Evergreen Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Leland on the 11th. As for Los Altos, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory on the 11th.
