San Ramon Valley never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the Dougherty Valley Wildcats 7-0. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Not much got past Lila McLeod, who gave up just four hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Dougherty Valley off the board. Furthermore, McLeod didn't allow a single walk, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kayden West, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ava Lyons, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

West wasn't the only one working in the hit department: San Ramon Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dougherty Valley only managed four hits.

San Ramon Valley pushed their record up to 5-1-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 6.7 runs. As for Dougherty Valley, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Ramon Valley will face off against California at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dougherty Valley, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Dougherty Valley Wildcats challenge Carondelet Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. They are strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.7 runs per game this season.
