While Barnum put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Carlton. The Bombers walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Bulldogs. The win was familiar territory for the Bombers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

The result came thanks to Andrew Schlaefer's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Carter Hautajarvi, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Eli Gilbertson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Barnum's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Carlton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Barnum will challenge McGregor at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Carlton, they will welcome Deer River at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
