Softball Game Preview: Seagraves Eagles vs. Morton Indians

The Seagraves Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Morton Indians at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither Seagraves nor Morton posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Seagraves lost 25-1 to Sundown on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Roughnecks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Morton's offense. They came up short against Post on Tuesday, falling 18-0.

Seagraves now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Morton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

Seagraves beat Morton 31-28 when the teams last played back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
