Preview: Elkton vs. Myrtle Point
Elkton will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Myrtle Point at 4:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps national rankings predict a close match.
Elkton took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against Sherman last Saturday as the team secured a 66-0 victory.
Meanwhile, Myrtle Point had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They took a serious blow against Rogue River, falling 0-41.
Elkton's win lifted them to 1-0 while Myrtle Point's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Elkton's success rolls on or if Myrtle Point are able to steal their positive momentum.
