Volleyball Game Preview: Brillion Lions vs. Chilton Tigers

Brillion hasn't had much luck against Chilton recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Brillion is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.

Brillion won the last time they faced Hilbert and Kara Hedrich did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolves on Thursday for which the team can thank Hedrich, who had four digs and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11, 25-20.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chilton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past New Holstein 3-0 on Tuesday. The Tigers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0).

Chilton's got stronger as the match went on, holding New Holstein to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-19.

Brillion's win bumped their record up to 26-4. As for Chilton, they now have a winning record of 15-14.
