Recap: Norfolk Panthers vs. Lincoln Southeast Knights
After flying high against the Newton HomeSchool Panthers last Saturday, the Norfolk Panthers came back down to earth. Norfolk took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Tuesday. Norfolk has struggled against the Knights recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Norfolk saw an underclassman step up: Russell Aubrey scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Aubrey has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tasha Eisenhauer, who scored eight points.
Norfolk's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Lincoln Southeast, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.
Norfolk will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Spartans at 5:45 p.m. As for Lincoln Southeast, they will head out on the road to challenge the Thunderbirds at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
