Ozona extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Christian Villarreal. The Lions claimed a resounding 56-14 win over the Miles Bulldogs with plenty of help from Villarreal, who rushed for 348 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 18.3 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Michael Preddy was another key player, throwing for 117 yards and a pair of TDs. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.

Ozona's record is now 5-0. As for Miles, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Ozona and Miles will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Lions see the field they'll take on Reagan County at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Miles, their break will end when they face Albany at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
