Southeast Alamance meant business on Friday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Hawks squad that has allowed just 27.71 points per contest. The Southeast Alamance Stallions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-53 victory over the Seaforth Hawks. Winning may never get old, but the Stallions sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Southeast Alamance's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Natalie Lopez, who posted 19 points and five rebounds. That's the most points Lopez has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Clara LaChapelle, who earned 18 points and eight boards.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gabrielle White, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 18 rebounds. White has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Katherine Leonard was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Southeast Alamance pushed their record up to 18-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points over those games. As for Seaforth, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 19-2.

Southeast Alamance didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 87-28 victory against Graham on the 11th. As for Seaforth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-14 win against Jordan-Matthews on the 11th.
