Johnson will head out on the road to take on Bowie at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Johnson has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Bowie will arrive with three straight wins.
Johnson didn't get the result they wanted in their first match with Dripping Springs on Friday. They put up a good fight, but they still had to settle for second after a 3-2 loss on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for them in their matchups with Dripping Springs: they've now lost seven in a row.
Meanwhile, Bowie kept a clean sheet against Austin on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past Austin 1-0. That's two games straight that Bowie has won by exactly a single goal.

Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Bowie, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0-1.
Johnson suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Bowie in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Johnson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
