Charlestown not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 3, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the New Washington Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 win. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-14.

Kylie Thacker paced Charlestown's offense, picking up 12 kills. Thacker got some help from Maddie Watts and her 22 assists. Harper Gray controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

The win got Charlestown back to even at 2-2. As for New Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Charlestown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Henryville on the 27th. As for New Washington, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Austin on the 28th.
