Winslow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-32 heartbreaker at the hands of the Maine Central Institute Huskies. One positive for the Black Raiders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Winslow's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Maine Central Institute, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Winslow and Leavitt will compete for holiday cheer at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Maine Central Institute will take on Maranacook in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
