Volleyball Recap: Pawling Comes Up Short

Pawling was the 3-1 winner over Dover when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Dragons on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Dover to victory were Lola Green and Emily Arnold. Green had six kills, two blocks, and two aces, while Arnold had 12 assists and three aces. That's the most aces Arnold has posted over her last three games.

Pawling's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dover, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Pawling will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Salem at 3:00 p.m. on October 4. As for Dover, they will head out on the road to challenge Rhinebeck at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
