Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Athens). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Kemp Yellowjackets 66-33. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Hornets considering their 25-point performance the game before.

Athens' victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 11-9. As for Kemp, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Brownsboro the next time they take the court. Kemp will head out to face Brownsboro at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Athens will host them at 6:15 p.m. on January 7th.
