Football Game Preview: South Plantation Paladins vs. Plantation Colonels

The South Plantation Paladins will take on the Plantation Colonels at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. South Plantation's offense hasn't had much luck over their past six contests, but Wednesday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

South Plantation lost 27-7 to St. Thomas Aquinas on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Paladins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Raiders are ranked 27th).

Meanwhile, Plantation lost to Piper at home by a 20-6 margin on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Colonels in their meetings with the Bengals: they've now lost three in a row.

South Plantation's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Plantation, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

South Plantation took their victory against Plantation when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 34-12 score. Will the Paladins repeat their success, or do the Colonels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
