Volleyball Recap: Glendale Wins Going Away Against Curwensville + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Claysburg-Kimmel, Glendale was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Curwensville Golden Tide 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Golden Tide: they've now won six in a row.

One reason for the win was Glendale's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-13, 25-12.

Rachel McClellan had another great game (as she tends to do), getting 12 kills, 12 digs, and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six matches. Madilyn Skebeck was another key player, getting eight digs, six blocks, and two aces.

The victory got Glendale back to even at 5-5. As for Curwensville, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Glendale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against United on the 20th. As for Curwensville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Purchase Line on the 22nd.
