Bellevue East hasn't had much luck against Lincoln Southwest recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Bellevue East Chieftains will square off against the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks at 3:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Bellevue East's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Marian as Bellevue East made off with a 9-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chieftains.

Maddy Mitchell was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two doubles, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Friedrich, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
