Volleyball Recap: Cullman Takes a Loss

Cullman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brewer Patriots. The Bearcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Cullman took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-18, 17-25, 27-29, 25-22, 15-13.

Cullman's defeat dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Brewer, their win bumped their record up to 25-13.

Looking ahead, Cullman will challenge Mortimer Jordan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bearcats surely won't give up without a fight. Brewer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
