It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Southside had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Fort Payne Wildcats by a score of 7-2. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Southside's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-14. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Payne, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-17.

Southside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Payne, they have already played their next matchup, a 7-4 victory against Gadsden City on the 29th.
