After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Manheim Township, Cedar Crest was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed past the J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado to the tune of 48-6. That looming 48-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Falcons yet this season.

Cedar Crest's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eddiel Nunez, who rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Kai Speaks, who picked up 62 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Cedar Crest didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mason Copenhaver and Terrance Wilson.

The win got Cedar Crest back to even at 4-4. As for J.P. McCaskey, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Cedar Crest will square off against Hempfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for J.P. McCaskey, they will face off against Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Red Tornado surely won't give up without a fight.
