There's no place like home for Spruce Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.

Spruce Creek never let Flagler Palm Coast on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 27-25, 25-19.

Annabelle Gentry paced Spruce Creek's offense, picking up 16 kills. Gentry got some help from Rachel Smith and her 21 assists. Smith also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sadie VanBrocklin, each putting up three.

Spruce Creek is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Flagler Palm Coast, they moved to 9-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
