Villa Rica had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Haralson County Rebels on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won eight in a row.

Villa Rica easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Villa Rica to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lillieanne Price, who had 18 digs and four assists. Jamey Hennelly was another key player, getting 12 assists and six digs.

Coincidentally, Villa Rica and Haralson County will both be playing Temple the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Rebels will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
