Basketball Recap: Gustine Takes a Loss

Gustine lost against Sidney back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Gustine Tigers came up short against the Sidney Eagles, falling 56-30. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gustine's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sidney, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Gustine will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on May at 7:30 p.m. on December 31st. Sidney also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Cross Plains at 8:00 p.m. on December 31st. Sidney is facing Cross Plains at the right time seeing as Cross Plains is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
