Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shafter). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Wasco Tigers 72-39. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Adin Cardenas was his usual excellent self, going 7-for-16 to rack up 20 points along with six steals and five assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Hector Cruz, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Shafter was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Wasco lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Hugo Marin, who earned 12 points and seven boards. Elijah Lopez was another key player, putting up ten points.

Shafter's record now sits at 8-12. As for Wasco, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

As of now, neither Shafter nor Wasco have any future games scheduled.
