Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Clinton Takes a Loss

Northeastern Clinton extended their losing streak to five on Wednesday, dropping them down to 1-9. They lost 3-0 to the Lake Placid Bombers. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bombers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

As for Lake Placid, their win bumped their record up to 4-11. The contest marked their most dominant victory of the season.

Lake Placid found their leader in sophomore Ellie Shipman, who had six digs and three aces. Brooke Meyer was another key player, getting seven kills and three aces.

Northeastern Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Placid, they will take on Saranac Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
