Soccer Game Preview: Springfield vs. Sycamore

The Springfield Yellow Jackets will take on the Sycamore War Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Springfield's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Tuesday, Springfield didn't have quite enough to beat Goodpasture Christian and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Sycamore had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They had just enough and edged out Nashville Christian 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Sycamore were the better team in the second half.

Springfield now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Sycamore, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
