Basketball Recap: Windsor Extends Winning Streak to Three

Windsor extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Madden Smiley. The Windsor Wizards claimed a resounding 71-43 victory over the Grandview Wolves thanks in part to Smiley, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 13 boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.5 boards per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of John Backhaus, who posted nine points along with six boards and five assists. Those five assists gave him a new career-high.

Windsor's record is now 6-2. As for Grandview, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Windsor won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Valor Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Windsor is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.1 points per game this season. As for Grandview, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Thomas Jefferson at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
