Preview: Frankfort Falcons vs. Keyser Golden Tornado
Frankfort is 9-1 against Keyser since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Frankfort Falcons will look to defend their home court against the Keyser Golden Tornado at 7:00 p.m. Frankfort has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 15.
Last Tuesday, Frankfort came up short against Petersburg and fell 64-53. Frankfort has not had much luck with Petersburg recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Keyser can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Northern as Keyser made off with a 59-35 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Keyser has posted since December 18, 2023.
Frankfort dropped their record down to 2-10 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Keyser, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.
Frankfort didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Keyser in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 44-40 win.
