Football Game Preview: Flandreau vs. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will challenge Flandreau on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton are cruising in on a 4-game winning streak while Flandreau are stumbling in off of 3 consecutive losses.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton were putting the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Redfield/Doland last Friday as the squad secured a 42-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Flandreau lost to Sioux Valley by a decisive 6-26 margin. Flandreau were down by 6-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton's win lifted them to 4-0 while Flandreau's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if Mt. Vernon/Plankinton can add another positive mark to their record or if Flandreau can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Mt. Vernon/Plankinton's step.
