Soccer Game Preview: Lake Taylor vs. Deep Creek

Lake Taylor hasn't had much luck against Deep Creek recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Titans will square off against the Hornets at 5:30 p.m. Lake Taylor has given up an average of 4.4 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Lake Taylor's offense. They came up short against Arcadia on Monday, falling 8-0. Lake Taylor have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Deep Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Western Branch on Tuesday and fell 4-3.

Deep Creek has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five matches. As for Lake Taylor, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Lake Taylor suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Deep Creek in their previous meeting on May 5th. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
