Basketball Game Preview: Buffalo Bison vs. Waynoka Railroaders

The Buffalo Bison are taking a road trip to take on the Waynoka Railroaders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waynoka took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Buffalo, who comes in off a win.

Buffalo is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Vici 52-27 on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bison as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Waynoka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 54-44 to Medford. While losing is never fun, the Railroaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 335th, while the Cardinals are ranked 116th).

Waynoka's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Buffalo, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-13.

Buffalo beat Waynoka 49-39 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Buffalo since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
