Southwest DeKalb waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Clarkston Angoras, posting a 62-17 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Clarkston lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Anaiyah Sims, who posted four points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aoure Saria, who scored five points and five boards.

Southwest DeKalb's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points over those games. As for Clarkston, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Southwest DeKalb does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clarkston, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-10 win against Druid Hills on the 8th.
