Basketball Recap: Alief Elsik Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Fulshear came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Alief Elsik, but Timothy Ofesi wouldn't allow it. The Alief Elsik Rams strolled past the Fulshear Chargers with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 51-37 thanks in part to Ofesi, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last ten games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Trenton Scott, who posted ten points and three steals. What's more, he also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.

Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Preston White, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 10 points. Maddox So also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Alief Elsik moved to 10-16 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Fulshear, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-16.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Alief Taylor the next time they take the court. Alief Elsik will head out to face Alief Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Fulshear will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
