Football Recap: Gadsden County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Gadsden County lost against Coffee back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jaguars took a 23-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. Despite 72 more yards than the Trojans, the Jaguars couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Despite the loss, Gadsden County still got an impressive performance from Ashton Callahan, who rushed for 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Kentavius Debruce had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 115 yards and two TDs for Coffee. Ricquwan Jefferson made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Gadsden County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Coffee, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Gadsden County will head out to face off against Clearwater Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars will need to watch out since the Marauders have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matches. As for Coffee, they will host Mainland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
