Softball Recap: St. Teresa Comes Up Short

St. Teresa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 21-1 to the Casey-Westfield Warriors.

St. Teresa saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jalie Eller, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

St. Teresa's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Casey-Westfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Teresa will head out to face off against Cerro Gordo/Bement at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Casey-Westfield, they will venture away from home to square off against Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
