Volleyball Recap: California School for the Deaf-Riverside Comes Up Short

If California School for the Deaf-Riverside was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of The Grove School on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cubs lost 3-0 to the Cornerstone Christian Crusaders on Tuesday. The Cubs have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 25-19.

California School for the Deaf-Riverside now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cornerstone Christian, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, California School for the Deaf-Riverside will host Academy for Academic Excellence at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Cornerstone Christian and Bethel Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
