Baseball Recap: Stringer Takes a Loss

Stringer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northeast Jones Tigers. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in February of 2025.

Stringer's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Northeast Jones, they pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Stringer will face off against Sylva Bay Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northeast Jones, they will challenge Mize at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
