Baseball Recap: Methuen Takes a Loss

Methuen lost to Haverhill back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rangers fell just short of the Hillies by a score of 2-1. The matchup marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Methuen saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julius Soto, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases.

Methuen now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Haverhill, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Methuen will challenge Dracut at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Haverhill, they will face off against Andover at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
