Basketball Recap: Olive Takes a Loss

Olive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 48-35 to the Sperry Pirates.

Olive's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Sperry, the win snapped their losing streak at 18 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-14 record.

Olive and Sperry could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Olive will face off against Hominy at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 386 places (460 vs. 74). Meanwhile, Sperry (ranked 461st) will meet Kiefer (ranked 65th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
