After a string of three wins, Flinthills's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Sedgwick Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-12.

Flinthills' loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Sedgwick, they pushed their record up to 25-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Flinthills has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Central on the 11th. As for Sedgwick, they will square off against Remington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
