Basketball Recap: Stockton Takes a Loss

Stockton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Pearl City Wolves 68-32. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Blackhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-37 back in December of 2024.

Stockton's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Pearl City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Stockton and Pearl City could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Stockton (ranked 587th) will meet Warren (ranked 203rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pearl City will face off against Dakota at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 254 places (343 vs. 89).
