Baseball Recap: Longmont Comes Up Short

Longmont fell victim to Monarch and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coyotes. The Trojans' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Longmont's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Monarch, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Longmont will host Golden at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Demons will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Monarch, they will welcome Mead at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
