Basketball Game Preview: South Atlanta Hornets vs. Coahulla Creek Colts

The South Atlanta Hornets and the Coahulla Creek Colts will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, South Atlanta came up short against Miller Grove and fell 48-40. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 487th, while the Wolverines are ranked 241st).

Meanwhile, Coahulla Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-45 heartbreaker at the hands of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe.

Coahulla Creek's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for South Atlanta, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
