Soccer Recap: Manchester Takes a Loss

Manchester and Grassfield squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Manchester had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Manchester's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Manchester has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6-1 record this season. As for Grassfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Manchester nor Grassfield have any future games scheduled.
