Recap: Groom Tigers vs. Dimmitt Bobcats
The Groom Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 36-24 to Dimmitt.
Dimmitt found their leader in underclassman kaden carpio, who scored nine points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Frankie Cortez, who scored six points.
Groom's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Dimmitt, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
Groom will be playing in front of their home fans against Happy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dimmitt's road trip will continue as they head out to face Farwell at 6:30 p.m. on December 5th. Farwell presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dimmitt in Texas (Farwell is ranked 535th, while Dimmitt is ranked 1325th).
