            Desert Oasis's game  on Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Saturday. They were the clear victors by  a  9-0 margin over The Meadows School Mustangs.

 Lucian Manzano made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. Those  two  runs gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Desert Oasis let  Andrew Berumen and  Cooper Roberts run wild. Berumen  went 2-for-3 with one  triple and one  run, while  Roberts  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI. That's the most  hits  Berumen has posted since back in March.  Lincoln Guillermo was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  double.
 Desert Oasis  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as The Meadows School only posted  an  OBP of  .250.
Desert Oasis' record is now 18-11. As for The Meadows School, their loss dropped their record down to 15-12.
 Coming up, Desert Oasis will welcome Shadow Ridge  at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for The Meadows School, they are taking a road trip to  face off against Sports Leadership & Management  at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulls have averaged an impressive 6.8  runs per game this season.
