Baseball Recap: Desert Oasis Takes a Loss

Desert Oasis scored first but ultimately less than St. John Bosco in their match on Thursday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Braves. The contest marked the Diamondbacks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Desert Oasis saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Griffith, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Desert Oasis' loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for St. John Bosco, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Desert Oasis will head out to square off against Coronado at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. John Bosco, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on West Linn at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
