Soccer Recap: Seaforth vs. East Chapel Hill
Wednesday just wasn't the day for Seaforth's offense. They fell just short of the East Chapel Hill Wildcats by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Lance Fernandez was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.
Seaforth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for East Chapel Hill, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seaforth will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Northwood at 6:30 p.m. Seaforth's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for East Chapel Hill, they will have plenty of time to enjoy the win as they don't play again for a while. They'll take on Broughton at 6:30 p.m. on September 23rd.
