Football Recap: Berean Baptist Academy Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Father Capodanno

Berean Baptist Academy faced Father Capodanno in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bulldogs took a 34-20 bruising from the Grunts. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grunts apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Colin Strauss threw for 63 yards and one TD. On the ground, Conner Strauss rushed for 188 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.

Berean Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Father Capodanno, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
